Follow steps to check screen time on android-
- Open Settings : Unlock your Android device and navigate to the home screen. Find the Settings app, which usually has a gear or cog icon, and tap it to open it.
- Find Digital Wellbeing & Parental Controls : In the Settings menu, scroll down until you find the section called “Digital Wellbeing & Parental Controls”. Depending on your device and Android version, you may be in the “Privacy,” “Battery,” or “Device Care” sections. Tap it to continue.
- Access Digital Wellbeing : within the Digital Wellbeing and Parental Controls section, you will see options related to Digital Wellbeing. Tap the “Digital Wellbeing” option to access the dashboard.
- View Screen Time Summary : Once you’re in the Digital Wellbeing dashboard, you’ll see an overview of your screen time usage for the current day. You’ll see the total amount of time you spend on your device, as well as a breakdown of usage by app.
- Explore detailed usage statistics : To explore more detailed usage statistics, tap the “See more” or “See details” option below the screen time summary. This will allow you to view usage data for individual apps. You can tap any app to see its usage time for the day, how many times you’ve unlocked your device, and the number of notifications received.
- Set app timers (optional) : Digital Wellbeing also allows you to set app timers to limit the use of specific apps. If you want to set limits on certain apps, you can do so by tapping the “Dashboard” tab at the top of the screen, selecting the app you want to set a timer for, and then tapping the “Set timer” option. .
By following these steps, you can gain insight into your digital habits and take steps to manage your screen time effectively. If Digital Wellbeing is not available on your device, you may need to install it from the Google Play Store or your device may have a similar feature with a different name in its settings.
